Saved lot of AI tokens
It was painful seeing Claude always low in AI tokens, making me wait for couple of hours. SV is helping me a lot in providing context to Claude, instead of uploading a complete plugin when I only need one file to update for WordPress customization. No. Structure Viewer ships its own MCP server and works on WordPress 5.8 and newer. On WordPress 6.9+ the same tools are also registered with the core Abilities API for any other Abilities-aware tooling.
All of them. Context Packs are plain Markdown, XML or text. MCP clients — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Windsurf and others — connect directly to the built-in MCP server.
Every tool is read-only and admin-only. Each administrator creates a personal, revocable connection token that only works on the Structure Viewer MCP endpoint, secrets are redacted before content leaves the server, browser requests from other origins are rejected, and agent access can be switched off with one click.

Yes. It is strictly read-only — it cannot edit, upload or delete files — it's restricted to administrators, and it loads nothing on your site's frontend.

No. The only outbound requests are the ones you start yourself in the Pro Integrity Check, which downloads official checksums and original files from WordPress.org.
